Specs and features details

According to a report published by TechRadar, Nokia will probably take the wraps off this device towards the end of 2017. The report cited hints portrayed by an HMD Global representative.

The smartphone will reportedly consist of a 5.5-inch QHD LED display with 1,440 x 2,560 pixels resolution – similar to the kind found on Sony’s Xperia XZ Premium. Nokia will be using the LED technology – most primarily found in leading Samsung models – for the first time on its smartphone.

The smartphone might also be backed up with a 12-megapixel front shooter. It might also feature USB-C Type for connectivity.

On the storage front, the device might end up offering 4 GB, 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The smartphone might come in all three storage variants as well.

The device will run on Android O update, as Nokia will probably launch the device after the update has been rolled out officially. Other additional features like 3D audio recording, an iris scanner, a fingerprint scanner and others are also going to come packed in Nokia 9.

In order to enhance the overall audio experience, Nokia is also rumored to equip its smartphone with four microphones and a spatial 360 degrees surround sound system. The smartphone might come at a starting price of $699, which other variants ranging much higher. Stay tuned for more news, rumors and updates on technology.
