During the past few days, we have been treated to several Samsung Galaxy Note 8 teasers. We now have an idea of what the premium phablet would look like, what specs would it be packing under its hood and also its possible launch date.
Release date in South Korea
Today, another leak has reached the public and this time, it’s the smartphone’s Release Date. The leak was announced by South Korean news outlet ETNews yesterday.
ETNews is claiming that an anonymous mobile network provider representative in South Korea, leaked the details of the exact availability date of the Note 8.
“We are going to sell Galaxy Note 8 starting from the 15th of September,” said the unnamed representative. Also, another anonymous representative stated that Samsung has already finalized its decision for and has almost zero chance of changing the release date.
Pre-order details are yet to be announced as well, however, mobile carriers in South Korea has tipped that they are looking to open pre-order slots for 10 to 14 days. This figure has been estimated to ensure that they can deliver the ample amount of supply to the consumers.
Pricing and availability
There is no word yet if the September 15th release date in South Korea would also be applied in other major markets such as North America and Europe.

Note 8 launch and specs rumor recap
The Samsung Note 8 is expected by many to debut in three weeks at Samsung's Unpacked event in New York, this coming August 23rd. The premium Android phablet is rumored to have a 6.3 inch Super AMOLED display, a 1440 x 2960 resolution, as well as an 18.5:9 aspect ratio.
A hardware feature similar to the Samsung S8 and S8+.
Samsung is also bringing back the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor for US models while putting a Samsung Exynos 8895 under the hood for international variants. The Note 8 would also enjoy, a what is considered to be a step up from the Galaxy S8, an increase in RAM of up to 6GB.
Based on previous image leaks, the Note 8 is said to get a redesign, especially in the camera department. The phablet is rumored to keep up with its current competition by adding dual 12 MP rear cameras with optical image stabilization and 3x optical zoom.
Lastly, the phablet is expected to have an IP68 certification for water and dust resistance just like its predecessor. USB Type-C, expandable memory, and a 3300 mAH battery equipped with fast charging and wireless charging.
