LG Electronics is expected to officially announce its highly anticipated LG V30 Android smartphone on August 31. However, the handset’s rumors, leaks and speculations are still mounting up on the internet. The popular tipster Evan Blass recently shared the smartphone’s high-resolution render, showcasing the handset on almost every side.
According to The Verge, the famous leaker posted the forthcoming smartphone’s image on his Twitter account. Based on the photo, it may just be the first look at the much awaited LG V30 smartphone. However, the tech company’s 2017 flagship mobile device closely resembles to its G6 handset, but the bezel of the new device appears to be a lot thinner.
The smartphone’s rounded camera feature seems better compared to the Galaxy S8 and Note 8.
Dual camera setup
Although the back of the new smartphone looks like the G6, the dual camera setup of the LG V30 could indicate their differences. Unlike the dual camera setup of the G6, the dual cameras of the new smartphone are separated from the LED flash. Also, as reported by Android Central, the LED flash of the new device appears to tag along with the laser autofocus module.
LG Electronics made it known that the LG V30 will be the very first mobile device to arrive with an f/1.6 aperture lens. This could mean that the smartphone’s camera can provide high-quality images even in low light areas.
Smartphone’s specs
The LG V30 smartphone is expected to be available with a 6-inch OLED QHD display with 1440 x 2880 pixel resolution, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU, backed up by a 4GB of RAM and a 64GB of internal storage. The tech company is expected to launch a 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage model.

The smartphone will also be available with an IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. On the connectivity front, the device will be equipped with a Wi-Fi 802.11, A-GPS, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB Type-C.
