Initially when rumors surfaced pertaining to the names of colors that were coming for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, many noticed that the shades were given very quirky and unusual names, such as, Orchid Grey, Arctic Silver, and Black Sky. According to the latest leak for the upcoming Note 8, the phablet may sport the Arctic Silver shade i.e. if the images of the alleged renders are authentic.
The latest leak shows the Note 8 renders in Arctic Silver, prompting speculation that this hue is in the offing. The latest leaks show us the leaked renders of an armored case wrapper for the upcoming handset in the said hue.
The protective case shows in details, the entire cutout and the dimensions of the smartphone. It has been noted that the design of the case renders share an uncanny similarity with the Galaxy S8’s Infinity Display frame. However, in case of the Galaxy Note 8, the framework is little rectangular in shape.
What else do the renders reveal?
The case renders also display the space that has been dedicated to keeping the S Pen that will be accompanying the phablet. The S Pen storage slot has been kept on the right side of the Note 8. We can also see cut-out for a standard audio jack, USB Type-C port, and the mic or speaker. On the left, similar to the Galaxy S8 series, Samsung has housed the Bixby Button for the device.
The source credited with the leak, Ice Universe, posted on its Twitter account that the new S Pen accompanying the handset is “great” and the camera of the phablet cannot be rivaled. However, given that these claims have not been backed by any proof or argument, it is advisable to take them with a grain of salt.
