HMD Global-backed nokia brand took the market by a storm earlier this year when they announced their plans to revive their classic 3310 feature phone. The news was received positively by most of the fans. Therefore, the Finnish tech giant further added to the excitement by suggesting that they are going to be foraying into the smartphone market. Now, the company has made it official that they are about to launch three Android-based, budget smartphones in the market this season. These devices fall in the price range between $249 and $399. Let’s take a look at the specifications of the upcoming smartphones.

Budget smartphones with decent features

According to a report published by Huffington Post, Nokia is first expected to launch the Nokia 3 smartphone. The device comes packed with a 5-inch laminated display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone is further powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon and runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat. Furthermore, the device packs an 8MP rear and front cameras along with the Auto-Focus feature. It seems like the smartphone will be available in two color variants, namely White Silver and Matte Black. As far as the Nokia 5 smartphone is concerned, the device is going to come packed with a 5.20-inch laminated, IPS HD display with added Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Furthermore, the device is apparently made out of a single block of 6000 series aluminum coupled with a special 3D curved finish. The device is going to be available in two color variants, namely Matte Black and Silver. Furthermore, the smartphone is going pack 13MP rear and front cameras along with a special Phase-Detection Auto-Focus feature and Dual-Tone LED flash as well.

Lastly, the upcoming Nokia 6 smartphone is going to pack a 5.5-inch full HD screen with added Corning Gorilla glass and is going to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 SoC. The device will be offering 32GB of internal storage option. On the camera front, the Nokia 6 device is going to feature a 16MP rear camera with Dual-Tone flash along with an 8MP front snapper with Auto-Focus as well.

Android 7.1.1 Nougat powered devices

The device will be running on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat. While the exact launch date of these smartphones hasn't been confirmed as yet. It appears like the company will do so by the end of this month. Nokia is also apparently working on a new high-end Android, enabled smartphone dubbed Nokia 9.
