Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu is expected to take the wraps off its Pro 7 flagship smartphone sometime towards the end of this month. In fact, there is news that indicates that the technology giant might take the wraps off the upcoming smartphone on July 26Th of this year. While rumors and speculations regarding the smartphone are ever-increasing, there is a new report in town that claims to be carrying the official images of the Pro 7 flagship device, just ahead of the launch.

What reports have to say?

According to a report published by Gizmo China, an unnamed Meizu Executive, who is in a high post at the company, has apparently shared live-images of the upcoming Meizu Pro 7 flagship smartphone.

The former seems to have taken to Weibo (Chinese version of Facebook) to share images of the same. Like mentioned previously, the smartphone manufacturer is expected to introduce its Meizu Pro 7 smartphone on July 26th i.e. tomorrow. Therefore, the post does come across as authentic. Through the images, it can be observed that the said smartphone does a mesh-gray color. This apparently indicates that Gray is among the color variants that the upcoming device is set to come in. Apart from that, the smartphone can be seen sporting a distinctive look with brushed metal patterns.

Specs and features of the device

The device features a secondary rear display as well, that seems to be showcasing time and weather.

One can observe at the bottom-edge corner of the handset as packing an antenna bands. The official Meizu logo is imprinted on the lower-right-hand corner of the smartphone. The upcoming device’s information has not been leaked for the first time. Previously as well, there have been numerous leaks that have revealed the potential specifications of the upcoming smartphone.

For example, what is known for sure is that the upcoming Meizu Pro 7 is expected to arrive with a dual rear camera system with 13MP sensors, each of which is powered by Sony.

Apart from this, the upcoming smartphone is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s flagship SoC i.e. Helio X30 along with 64-bit CPUs, which are divided into individual clusters.

On the display front, the smartphone packs a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with 1,080 pixels resolution. However, this information has not been confirmed by the company as yet. Therefore, it is best that the information is taken with a grain of salt.
