Chinese tech giant Huawei introduced its mid-range smartphone, ‘Honor 6A,’ in china earlier this year. The firm, at that time, did not provide any details regarding whether they will be making the smartphone available in other markets as well. However, it appears like the company is preparing to bring the Honor 6A device in other markets now. If reports are believed to be true, then Huawei has officially launched its Honor 6A smartphone in the European Market, at a starting price of 169 Euros. The device is apparently available for sale in leading e-commerce stores and Huawei’s official showrooms across the country as well.

Available in China and Europe

When the smartphone was initially launched in China, it came in four different color variants Gold, Silver, Pink, and Blue.

However, the smartphone in Europe is only available in two colors, i.e. Gold and Silver. On the specifications front, the Huawei Honor 6A smartphone comes equipped with a 5-inch IPS display with 1,280 x 720-pixel resolution. The smartphone is further powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 SoC tagged along with eight ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores and Adreno 505 for graphics. The smartphone further goes on to offer 2GB of RAM along with 16GB of internal storage as well. Users also have the option of expanding the internal storage up to 128GB via its microSD card slot option.

Specs and feature of the smartphone

On the camera front, the Honor 6A smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash along with a 5MP front snapper as well. The device also comes packed with a fingerprint scanner that is located on the rear panel of the smartphone, right beside the camera sensor.

There are two variants of the Honor 6A that have emerged on the European retailer’s website. One that is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 SoC, and the other that is powered by MediaTek ‘MSM8937’ chipset. However, the prices of the same remain the same.

Apart from this, the Honor 6A smartphone houses a 3,020mAh battery and runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat topped with the company’s Emotion UI skin. As far as the measurement of the smartphone is concerned, the Honor 6A features 143.7 x 70.95 x 8.2mm in size. The smartphone is only available in China and Europe as of now. The company hasn’t provided any details regarding whether they plan on introducing the device in other markets as well. The chances of keeping the Honor 6A exclusive to these two markets are quite high, as there are other smartphones from the side of Huawei lined-up for a global roll-out as well.
