Samsung fans are finally seeing the design of the highly anticipated Galaxy Note 8 ahead of its probable competition with Apple’s iPhone 8. Slash Leaks recently posted what the phablet’s render could be. The very beautiful render was first reported by Forbes.

Leak image hinted the device’s design

Although the leaked image only showed the device’s front portion it boasts the South Korean tech giant's Infinity Display. The photo also showed the smartphone will come along with a power button on the right and a volume button on the left. However, the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 has sharper curves than the Galaxy S8, which makes the Note 8 a squared out version.

Nonetheless, Samsung’s much awaited phablet will be a bit larger compared to its predecessor. The device will boast a 6.3-inch QHD Super AMOLED display along with a 3840x2160 pixel resolution. The mobile device is expected to come along with a 13MP rear shooter and a 9MP front-facing snapper. The rear camera will feature phase detection, OIS and auto-focus.

According to Mashable, some case designs for Samsung’s mobile device have also mounted up on the Internet and they showcase the ports of the handset. The Galaxy Note 8 will come along with a headphone jack, which could prove that the tech giant might not remove the 3.5mm wires. However, the Note 8 could be available with Harman headphones, as well as an S Pen.

The much awaited smartphone is expected to arrive with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset, 6GB of RAM, as well as a 3,300 mAh battery. The device is expected to be available in two variants, 64GB for the base model, and 128GB for the premium version. Both variants will be equipped with 6GB of RAM. The tech company will also be equipping the smartphone with some convenient charging options.

However, it is quite possible that the tech titan will continue the bezel-less screen in the smartphone.

The premium features of the Galaxy Note 8 could push the device’s price tag above $1,000, which could also happen to Apple’s highly anticipated iPhone 8. Considering S8’s success, tech enthusiasts will be enticed to purchase Samsung’s upcoming smartphone with spectacular specs.

The possible release date of the phablet

The Note 8 smartphone will arrive preloaded with Android 7.1 Nougat. The tech company is expected to unveil the device during a press conference this August and the smartphone could be available on the market in September.
