The year 2017 wasn’t particularly good for Samsung, all thanks to the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco. In order to fix whatever had been spoilt, the South-Korean technology giant has been working especially hard this year. The company recently took the wraps off its Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones. Now, the firm is expected to introduce the successor to the Galaxy Note 7 and its 2017 flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone on 23rd August at the company’s ‘Unpacked’ event scheduled to take place in New York. It is natural for endless leaks and rumors to flood the internet regarding the upcoming smartphone.

Among the analysts predicting the possible specifications of the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 smartphone, is Ming-Chi Kuo who thinks that the upcoming device might come along with a support for 3x Optical Zoom.

Rumored camera features

According to a report published by GSMArena, industry analyst known especially for predicting specifications in Apple products, Mr. Ming-Chi Kuo took to his official blog site to publish that he feels that the upcoming Note 8 smartphone is going to come featuring an imaging system that will comprise of both standard lenses and also a telephoto lens – the one discovered in Apple’s 2016 iPhone 7 smartphone. The same feature can also be found in the recently-launched OnePlus 5 smartphone.
