ZTE’s newly launched smartphone ZTE Max XL is now available through U.S. based carrier Sprint’s online stores. The smartphone was initially made available through Sprint’s prepaid brands, Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile. However, seeing that the 6-inch smartphone was a massive success on those two networks, Sprint decided to introduce the smartphone in its online catalog starting Friday, June 9.

Lixin Cheng, the senior vice president at ZTE Mobile Devices, who is also the chairman of ZTE USA stated in the ZTE USA community that the high-end phablet was released on Sprint at affordable pricing.

The smartphone carries a price tag of $192.00 if a consumer wants to pay the amount outright for the smartphone. However, if one wants to purchase it on a monthly installment basis, he/she will have to pay $8.00 per month for the next two years.

Pricing of the device on Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile

The 6-inch phone was only available on prepaid carriers, Virgin and Boost mobile until now. While Virgin Mobile is offering the phablet at $119.00 after a $10 discount from its $129.00 dollar original price, Boost is offering the same at just $99.99 after a 20 percent or $30 discount at the checkout. To avail the offer, the customer will have to enter the promotional code BOOST17 at the time of the checkout.

The offer is only available on orders placed through Boost’s online store.

However, the Max XL is currently out of stock at Virgin Mobile’s online store but can be purchased from Boost. Although Sprint has priced the mobile phone at $62 more than the Boost and Virgin pricing, the carrier will also be offering post-paid plans with the purchase of the smartphone.

Thus, for customers whose requirement is a post-paid connection can well opt for Sprint to buy the smartphone.
