nokia 9 has been making headlines on the Internet nowadays. The smartphone, believed to be the flagship device of HDM Global reportedly will be released in the third quarter of 2017. Just recently, the phone was seen on Geekbench with interesting specifications. Here are the things that we have gathered about the device.

Latest leaks

Lately, several variants of the Nokia 9 were reported seen on the Geekbench benchmark database. So far, there are over 30 listings of the device spotted on the database. A smartphone variant with model number TA-1012 has graced the Geekbench and revealed impressive specifications.

It is also worth noting that the variants seen in the database have different RAM capacities with the same processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC.

The recent listing of the upcoming flagship device with model number TA-1012 has a 6 GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. It can be recalled that in the previous leaks, there were similar devices that were found on the same database. However, these devices have different RAM capacities, which are 4 GB and 8 GB. For now, given these details, it is still unclear if the company will release a device with RAM based on either of the RAM found on Geekbench. It is also possible that three variants would be released based on 4 GB, 6 GB, and 8 GB configuration.

Aside from the details about the device’s Random Access Memory, the listing also revealed that the upcoming flagship device would run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box. The high-end device from the Finnish company would have an 8-core mobile processor with a base speed of 1.90GHz. The device will be a single-SIM smartphone.

According to several claims, the device would be released with a 5.3-inch QHD 1440p display. In addition, it would have a 64 GB storage that can be expanded through a microSD card.

The flagship device reportedly would sport a 13-megapixel dual camera set up at the rear part of the device. It would also have a 13-megapixel front facing camera sensor.

Moreover, it would be released equipped with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

For its price, there are speculations that this iPhone killer device would be available at $800 for the variant with 128 GB storage configuration. These details are yet to be confirmed by HDM Global.
