The upcoming action-adventure video game, “Grand Theft Auto 6,” is already dubbed as Rockstar Games’ next masterpiece even before the game came into existence. However, the video game developer has not pitched in any information about the new entry in the game series and the company is still mum about the development of the video game.
As game enthusiasts and experts are expecting Rockstar Games to roll out the “GTA 6,” the release date of the game is yet to be announced. However, the company has been praised enthusiastically for excellence in developing a game.
'GTA 6' to launch alongside PlayStation 5
It might still be a coincidence or not, but many game enthusiasts doubt it. Game fans believe that the game company will produce the upcoming “Grand Theft Auto VI” specifically for Sony’s PlayStation 5. Nonetheless, there are also reports contradicting this theory. But, there is a high chance that “Grand Theft Auto 6” will follow in the footsteps of the fifth installment, which rolled out on purpose for the current-gen of gaming systems.
Nonetheless, Rockstar Games' head writer and co-founder, Dan Houser, told The Guardian that it is possible for “GTA 6” to have a London-based setting. Houser thinks there are plenty of great stories the game company could tell about the U.K., and the U.K.
has great environments to showcase the gameplay mechanics.
Release date of the title
The Hall of Fame magazine made it known that the highly anticipated “GTA 6” video game is currently in the development phase. Also, the magazine claims that the process of the game’s development is evolving smoothly. However, GTA fans might still see the release of game's sixth installment sometime in 2020, which is the year rumored for the release of Sony’s PS5 too.
On the other hand, the security analyst at Wedbush, Michael Pachter, predicted Rockstar Games to roll out the “GTA 6” in 2024. Pachter said that as the video game company is putting its full attention to the western action-adventure video game, “Red Dead Redemption 2,” “GTA 6” might not see the light of day anytime soon.
That being said, fans of the “Grand Theft Auto” series are still completely intrigued with the upcoming installment. This proves how Rockstar Games’ action-adventure video game stays increasingly popular. In spite of that, Rockstar Games has yet to give any official announcement regarding the next installment.
