The reality show “Keeping up with the Kardashians” has been a great influence on the lives of many women and young girls. From a fashion line to make-up and even traveling, the Kardashians live a life that most ladies only dream of having. While some are hoping to just be acknowledged by these celebrities by their comments on social media, there is a lady that has been literally keeping up with Kim Kardashian.
A Cinderella story
Stephanie Shepherd started out as a dancer for Cleveland Cavaliers when she was 18. She decided to move to Los Angeles in 2009 in hopes of getting bigger gigs.
Instead of being a dancer, she was hired by Choreographer Mikey Minden as an assistant to Erika Girardi from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”. Coming from a small town, Stephanie had been living a simple life. Moving to a bigger city was a totally different thing for her. Fortunately, Mikey and Erika were kind enough to take her under their wings and helped her career. After a few years, Minden introduced her to former Pussycat Doll Robin Antin, who asked her if she is willing to be Kim Kardashian's assistant.
Keeping up with the Kardashians
The long-time assistant may not be one of the five Kardashian siblings but most often, she is tagged as the sixth sister. She has been assisting Kim for almost five years now, getting everything done for the star.
Talking about work ethics, she noted that the Kardashian-Jenner clan are very hard working and she needs to keep up with their energy. However, working for them is not all work, she revealed. Shepherd has received and experienced loads of perks that come with the job of working for a celebrity.
She is enjoying a trunk of Kimoji swag, and her bedroom is overflowing with the Life of Pablo merchandise.
Her make-up is done by Mario Dedivanovic and Kanye West gave her snakeskin boots as a Christmas present. Travelling is also a part of Stephanie’s job because her boss has a jet-setting life. Aside from those perks, Shepherd was inspired to workout religiously because of the influences of Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe. After Kim was robbed in Paris, Stephanie felt that it is her personal obligation to look after the safety of her boss.
She even pointed out that she is willing to take a bullet for Kim.
The promotion
Currently, Stephanie Shepherd has been promoted to the COO of Kardashian West brands. Even though she has another position to fill, Stephanie still makes sure that she is not forgetting her job as Kim Kardashian’s executive assistant.
