Leaks about the upcoming Moto E4 Plus have been circulating online. The next moto e4 Plus has leaked once again, and the renders offer a detailed look at the impending handset. The device has already received FCC certification, which confirms that the handset will release in the United States. Publication Tech Droid shared the images and revealed that the handset would have a removable back panel.
What the images reveal
The leaked renders of the Motorola handset show off the company logo. One can also see the microSD card and SIM card slots in the renders.
The battery of the handset – which is rumored to be a massive 5000 mAh one – will be removable based on the leak. The renders also show off the speaker position, which is located on the back of the handset, on the left. The position is quite awkward and makes one wonder why Motorola is taking this route.
Rumored feature and specs
Older rumors have pointed to a 5.5 inch 720 x 1280 HD display for the impending handset from the Lenovo-owned company. The rumored device is also expected to be powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737M CPU. The processor will allegedly clock 1.3 GHz. The device will reportedly come with either 2GB of RAM or 3GB of RAM.
The Moto E4 Plus will also support 16GB of onboard storage.
The handset is also expected to pack in a decent 13MP primary camera, as well as a 5MP secondary snapper. Both the cameras will supposedly support LED flash. Rumors also suggest that the upcoming device may come pre-loaded with Android 7.1. Nougat.
When will it release?
The upcoming smartphone will reportedly be introduced in Europe first and then other countries.
It is not known when the handset will release, but Motorola is likely targeting a Q2 or Q3 release for the device. The smartphone is expected to be targeted at budget buyers and could cost around $207 per rumors.
The Moto E4 Plus could hit the US shelves soon as the device has received the green signal from the FCC. The major US carriers will likely offer it.
Whether the smartphone can entice budget-conscious buyers remains to be seen. If the company introduced some security features such as a fingerprint scanner in the handset, the device might draw more consumers.
