Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) has been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance on March 3 with a clear indication that the phone will ship with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Recently, the handset got approval from the Bluetooth certification body and the FCC in the United States.

With the approval of Wi-Fi Alliance, you can expect an imminent launch in the US within the next few days. In addition to Wi-Fi, the PDF document released by the authority signals the addition of WMM power save feature and Wi-Fi protected setup with the help of PIN and push-button.

According to PhoneArena, the Galaxy J7 (2017) will launch in the US within the next one month. There are reports that the company has tied up with mobile carriers like T-Mobile and Sprint, who will launch the phone in different names. However, the chances of launching the phone within one month are slim because the company is scheduled to launch its flagship Galaxy S8. Hence, you can expect the launch of the handset by the middle of April.

Mobile carrier will launch their own variants of the Galaxy J7 (2017)

Based on the reports, Verizon will most likely unveil the phone on April 10 dubbed as Samsung Galaxy J7 V. Meanwhile, Tracfone will launch the device as Samsung Galaxy J7 Sky Pro. You can also expect different variants of the handset from AT&T and US Cellular.

However, we don't have any information about the possible names which will be given to the phone by these mobile service providers.

Touted as a decent mid-level handset, the 2017 model of Galaxy J7 series will feature a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable internal storage.
