The game enthusiasts are now looking forward to the release of “Red Dead Redemption 2” this year. However, as the much-awaited title will surely come on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, PC users now take their plea online to have a version on the said platform.
The PC players are asking Rockstar to make a version of the game’s sequel playable on the device they are using. In fact, they have created an online petition on Change.org and already gathered more than 50,000 signatures.
Video game company might hear fans cry to bring the sequel on PC
Exactly 53,278 names – as of this writing – have signed the online petition.
About 21,722 more and they will finally reach the 75,000 mark needed. To recall, the video game company also unveiled a PC port for “Grand Theft Auto 5” after almost two years of its release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
With that, the game enthusiasts believe that it will do the same with “Red Dead Redemption 2.” Take-Two Interactive, the title’s distributor, might also gamble to bring the series’ second installment to as many playable devices as possible to rake in more players. Hence,“Red Dead Redemption Online” might be born.
In fact, there are surfacing leaks hinting that Rockstar is now working on something for PC and base on its official schedule, some deem it might be the much-awaited sequel.
To add fuel to the fire, the news broke out when it was revealed that there is a big possibility that the game could also be on PC.
Fans worried about cheats coming on ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ PC version
Meanwhile, the possible coming of “Red Dead Redemption 2” on PC makes some fans a little bit worried about the threat of cheats coming.
"I hope there aren't any single player cheats in RDR 2. Completely unnecessary. Just play the game," a fan said (via Daily Express).
Another fan advised the cheaters saying that if they are going to use mods because they can’t play the game properly, they shouldn’t play the game from the very start. On the contrary, some fans want to see some modification included in the game.
"It's a big part of Rockstar's games and gives people another reason to play through again," another fan suggested. One player even said that it is being played for additional fun, explaining that some players use cheats just for fun and not because they don’t know how to play the game.
