It's that time of year again when the Playstation Store is having its annual Critics Choice sale. This sale has some incredible deals on the best games that were released on Sony in 2016. As usual, the sale is even better if you happen to be a PS Plus subscriber. In total, users can save up to 60 percent if they aren't subscribers and 70 percent if they are on the right games. The sale includes some of the biggest names in the video game industry as well as some of the most beloved indie titles.
PlayStation Store's top of the AAA heap
The critic's choice sale offers some very big deals on some of the biggest games that were released in the last few years.
This includes games like "Fallout 4" which normally costs $59.99 and can be had if you're a PS Plus subscriber for $29.99.
The deluxe edition of the game normally sells for $109.99 and can be had for half that ($54.99) if you are a PS Plus user. Other AAA titles that are on big time sale in the PlayStation Store include titles like "Mortal Kombat XL" and "Street Fighter 5". Both of these fighting games are normally retailing for $39.99 and they can both be had for just $19.99 while the PlayStation Store Critics Choice sale is going on.
The best of the rest
While the PlayStation Store sale is offering up some of the biggest games to be offered up in the last couple of years, there are also plenty of smaller and yet plenty popular games on offer as well.
If you have yet to get your hands on a game like "The Witness" for the PS4, then now would be the time to snatch it up, as you'll be able to get it for less than $20.
If adventure games are more your bread and butter, then you can grab the complete first season of "Life is Strange" for just $5.99. That's a rather impressive deal for hours of mind-bending content.
Platformers like "Enter the Gungeon" and "Darkest Dungeon" are also offered up for a limited time at a rather deep discount. You'll want to pull the trigger on any game you've been considering getting soon though. The PlayStation Store Critics Choice sale runs through February 28.
