England faces Bangladesh in match 12 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 on Saturday, June 8. The match will be played at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff, Wales at 9:30 AM GMT, 3:30 PM BST.
England has won one match against South Africa and lost one against Pakistan. Bangladesh also achieved one win against South Africa but then went on to lose their second match against New Zealand. Interestingly, Bangladesh has beaten England in two back to back World Cup games before this. In 2011, Bangladesh won a close match in Chittagong and then later repeated the feat in Adelaide in 2015.

Plunkett likely to come back
Adil Rashid hasn't had the kind of World Cup he would have hoped.
According to the Cricbuzz report, Rashid is set to be replaced by Liam Plunkett as the England management thinks an extra seamer could be the ideal choice for them considering the pitch in Cardiff. Other than this, England isn't likely to make any further changes to their line-up.
Bangladesh seek balance considering the conditions
Bangladesh will be facing a psychological issue with the selection of the team before the clash in Cardiff. Even though the tactic of playing Mehidy Hasan as an extra spinner in the side has worked well, Bangladesh could well decide to select an extra seamer in his place. With Rubel Hossain sitting in the ranks, it might not be a bad idea either. Other than this, Bangladesh will not make any more changes to their XI from the previous clash.
"I think people underestimate them. We certainly don't."

The matches in Cardiff haven't been as high-scoring as one would have imagined before the tournament started.
According to the Cricbuzz report, there has been a lot of rain in the ground on the eve of the match which may help the seamers to get some swing from the turf. There even could be a delayed start as there are chances of a shower early in the morning. Overall, expect a good game of cricket with both the batsmen and the bowlers having a fair share of purchase from the wicket.
