India and Australia will clash tomorrow, June 9, 2019, in an epic match in the run-up to the ICC World Cup 2019. The crucial game will take place at The Oval, Kennington; London. The game is scheduled to start at 3.00 PM IST.

Any Australia /India match is keenly fought, and the fans of either side are on tenterhooks during the game. Australia has already won the trophy five times and is the hot favorites. Australia will be putting all its efforts to retain the trophy.

Australia upbeat after victory against the Caribbean

It will be match number two for the Indians who in their first match, had clinically subdued South Africans.

Australia has won both its games in a thumping manner. Australia has also tamed the Caribbean storm in its second match and was able to register a comprehensive victory. India could go with three quickies.

The Indian think tank would have closely watched the Australia –West Indies match and looking at the discomfort faced by Australian batsman against fast bowlers will be tempted to play with three fast bowlers.

In the game against West Indies, the Kangaroos were struggling at 38 for four wickets. India has a potent speedster in the form of Jaspreet Bumrah who is quick and can make the ball rise awkwardly.

Mohammad Shami and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar can also bowl fast, but he depends more on the swing for getting wickets than on short pitch deliveries. The pitch at The Oval has been known to help fast bowlers, and hence India could go with three fast bowlers.

Australia team back to its former glory

Earlier in 2019, Australia had won a series in India after losing two matches.

It shows that the Kangaroos are now fit and regained their never-say-die attitude.

The Australian team has been in a spot for the last few years and is a shadow of its former invincible form. They lost the series in Sri Lanka and also in India.

However, with the return of David Warner and Steve Smith, the team now looks much stronger, and this was proved in the match against West Indies when Smith single-handedly took the team from a disastrous 38 for four wickets to a respectable score.

Australia bowling attack is also, and it will not be a cakewalk for India.
