It's "WrestleMania" week in New York for the fans and wrestlers to all converge. Each "WrestleMania" brings special moments such as Rob Gronkowski helping Mojo Rawley with a battle royal win, or Ronda Rousey making her in-ring debut. The week-long festivities also include various superstar and legends appearing for fan events or the annual Hall of Fame ceremony. There was also a random attack that occurred on Saturday night. The incident happened during the WWE Hall of Fame 2019 ceremony at Brooklyn's Barclay Center involving Bret "The Hitman" Hart and a random fan.
Bret Hart inducted into WWE Hall of Fame
The 2019 WWE Hall of Fame class featured many legends from the WWF/WWE ring from over the past decades. They included the Harlem Heat tag team consisting of Booker T and Stevie Ray, as well as the stable known as D-Generation X. Torrie Wilson, Brutus the Barber Beefcake, and the Honky Tonk Man, were also inducted.
In past years, the WWE Hall of Fame was held in a large arena with a stage where Hall of Fame inductees would give a speech for the ceremony. This year, the venue featured WWE superstars giving their speeches inside a ring. Bret "The Hitman" Hart was inducted this year as a member of The Hart Foundation. Also on hand was Natalya Neidhart, representing the late Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart who was Bret's former tag team partner.

The speech was well-received and fans showed their appreciation for The Hart Foundation when all was said and done. However, it was unfortunately interrupted by a bizarre and random fan event.
It's not the first time it's happened within the WWE either. A fan wearing a colorful hat, prompting reminders of an incident years ago involving Seth Rollins, rushed the ring to attack WWE legend Bret Hart on Saturday.
Videos emerge of fan attacking Bret Hart
A number of different videos have popped up online through Twitter and other social media.
They show a fan rush into the ring and appear to tackle Bret Hart down to the ring mat. However, there were plenty of WWE security people, fellow superstars, and other staff nearby to intervene. It appears that UFC fighter Travis Browne, the husband of WWE superstar Ronda Rousey, gets involved in subduing the fan and throwing some punches.

Another video shows the aftermath of the event with various superstars, legends, and other personnel working to get the fan restrained and away from the ring.
It had the Barclays Center crowd stunned with some of the fans in attendance cheering on the personnel as they took the attacker out of the ring.

Once the fan's restrained by various personnel, he's seen being escorted away from the ring and out of the Barclays Center arena. At one point, WWE superstar Dash Wilder, who is seen walking alongside the restrained fan, appears to throw a punch into the fan's face or head.
It didn't stop the induction ceremony, though. Bret "The Hitman" Hart seemed to be OK following the attack and finished his induction speech. Law enforcement also told the Associated Press that the 26-year-old perpetrator was in custody and would face criminal charges for the attack.
