The 2019 Big Ten Basketball Tournament printable bracket is ready to go! Conference tournaments are always an exciting way to prepare for all of the March Madness that will soon follow. All of the exciting Big Ten hoops action will get underway on Wednesday, March 13 from the United Center in Chicago. It is time for college hoops madness!

Big 3 and small 11?

Heading into the 2019 Big Ten Tournament, three teams stand head and shoulders above the rest. Michigan State, Purdue, and Michigan make up the top three seeds in this year’s tourney, and Las Vegas oddsmakers have them listed as the heavy favorites.

While the Spartans and Boilermakers both finished at 16-4 in conference play to claim a share of the regular season title, MSU won the tiebreaker to earn the No. 1 seed. The Michigan Wolverines are the No. 3 seed followed by the Wisconsin Badgers at No. 4 and the Maryland Terrapins rounding out the top five.

While the winner of the Big Ten Tournament will get the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament later this month, it is fair to say that all five of the above teams mentioned should make the March Madness tourney no matter what their outcome is in the Big Ten tourney.

Wolverines, Spartans on a collision course?

The Michigan State Spartans and Michigan Wolverines may be headed on a collision course for the third time.

If the No. 1 seeded Spartans and No. 3 Wolverines win their two games in the Big Ten Tourney, game three will be a winner take all rematch from Saturday night’s big game in East Lansing.

According to a CBS Sports report, an all Michigan final is very possible.

These two have squared off twice this season with Michigan State winning both contests. While MSU has, for the most part, had the best of Michigan this season, the Wolverines have dominated the series of late.
