Week 15 officially begins on Thursday, December 13 when the Los Angeles Chargers travel to loud and ruckus Arrowhead Stadium to take on the Kansas City Chiefs. This game has all the makings to be an instant classic! With first place on the line in the AFC West, these two will be ready for an all-out battle.

Elite QB’s take center stage

Old meets new Thursday night when two of the best quarterbacks in the league square off in the national spotlight. CBS Sports indicates Los Angeles’ Philip Rivers looks better than ever at the age of 37 as he is leading the Chargers to one of their best seasons in years.

Rivers has thrown for nearly 3,700 years and 29 touchdowns so far in 2018.

On the other side of the field is the new kid on the block Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes has been incredible so far in his first full season as the Chiefs starting QB. The former Texas Tech standout has thrown for 4.300 yards and 43 touchdowns. That is insanely good!

Thursday’s game will definitely have a playoff feel to it. The Chiefs clinch the AFC West title with a win because they would have a two-game lead over Los Angeles with just two games left in the regular season. Even if the two teams finished the 2018 regular season with the same record, Kansas City would win the division because they would have swept the season series over the Chargers.

All that being said, RIvers and the Chargers can make things very interesting if they can pull off the road win. If the Bolts pull it out they will move into a first-place tie with KC and the final two games will have huge meaning. Must see NFL TV!
