In just 11 short days (Tuesday, October 9), “WWE 2K19” will be released for everyone to play. Four days prior to that (Friday, October 5), anyone who purchased the deluxe edition will be able to get a copy of the game. Gamespot recently listed the confirmed full roster of the game including the downloadable content.
Over the past month or so, the “WWE 2K19” Twitter page has been revealing superstar ratings. Early on, the ratings of top male (A.J. Styles and Braun Strowman) and female (Asuka) have been announced.
The more recent batch of superstar ratings consists of a lot of retired legends that will be included in the game.
Men
- ”Macho Man” Randy Savage - 90 (Last year’s rating: 90)
- Triple H - 89 (Last year's rating: 89)
- Daniel Bryan - 88 (Last year's rating: 91)
- Dusty Rhodes - 88 (Last year's rating: 90)
- Randy Orton - 87 (Last year’s rating: 90)
- Undertaker - 87 (Last year's rating: 89)
- ”Rowdy” Roddy Piper - 86
- "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase - 85
- Dolph Ziggler - 84 (Last year’s rating: 83)
- Jeff Hardy - 84 (Last year’s rating: 86)
The legend Randy Savage becomes the second-highest rated superstar that has been revealed. “Macho Man” is just behind A.J. Styles who is a 91 and just ahead of Triple H and Braun Strowman who are both an 89.
While 87 is far from a bad rating, it is a bit surprising to see both Randy Orton and Undertaker not regarded as higher-rated superstars.
Orton’s overall rating dropped three points from last year’s game, “WWE 2K18.” Undertaker is seen by some fans as the best to ever step foot in a WWE ring.
As previously mentioned, A.J. Styles has the highest rating amongst those that have been revealed, but that may not be the case when the game comes out. There are superstars who will likely procure very high ratings that have not been announced yet such as Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, John Cena, and Brock Lesnar.
Women
- Alexa Bliss - 85 (Last year’s rating: 85)
Alexa Bliss overtakes Asuka, who is an 84, as the highest-rated female superstar that has seen their rating revealed. The five-time women’s champion (three times on Raw, twice on Smackdown) is still seen as one of the top female performers despite recent losses to Ronda Rousey.
Whether Bliss remains the top-rated female superstar when the game comes out remains to be seen. Charlotte Flair, the aforementioned Rousey, and Becky Lynch are some of the top female performers that have not seen their rating announced.
