With the upcoming "Greatest Royal Rumble 2018" in Saudia Arabia, the WWE rumors have been flying in regard to who else will partake in the big 50-man match. The sheer number of competitors in the match has led many fans to believe there will be some surprise entries, and that seems possible based on recent WWE rumors. At least two former WWE stars have been sighted in Saudia Arabia ahead of the event, leading to speculation that they'll be in the 50-man match.

'205 Live' star's brother

The brother of current WWE 205 Live superstar Ariya Daivari, Shawn Daivari, was the first former superstar that PWInsider confirmed.

It's said that Daivari is in Saudi Arabia for the "Greatest Royal Rumble" which takes place on Friday. The 33-year-old was previously part of WWE back in 2007 and was a manager for The Great Khali, as well as Mohammad Hussan. He also competed in the ring during his time.

In addition to his WWE wrestling days, Daivari also has worked with Ring of Honor and Impact Wrestling as well as several independent organizations. He co-owns a professional wrestling school with another former WWE star, Ken "Mr. Kennedy" Anderson. One has to wonder if both of the Daivari brothers will be in this match based on this information.

Former Cruiserweight champ?

There's also been confirmation from PWInsider that a former WWE Cruiserweight Champion is in Saudi Arabia for the big event.

That is none other than Hornswoggle, the smaller superstar who was part of many storylines in WWE, including the "who is Vince's son?" story and his run as the leprechaun who came out from under the ring during Finlay's matches. At one point, he won the previous WWE Cruiserweight title that the company had before WWE retired that particular belt.

WWE star Hornswoggle has gone on to make appearances in other independent organizations and was even featured in The Hardy's run with TNA Impact Wrestling for a bit. In addition, he took on the role of "Leprechaun" in a reboot of the popular horror series.

25 unknown competitors

As of Thursday, there were a total of 25 competitors officially announced for the big Royal Rumble match.

They include Daniel Bryan, Braun Strowman, Kurt Angle, Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler, Elias, and Bobby Roode. There are also stars returning to the ring for the match that fans have not seen in some time, or at least in too many recent matches. They'll include Big Show, Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio, and The Great Khali.

The potential for other surprises is certainly there as WWE could bring in superstars from "NXT," or other Hall of Famers if they choose to. Fans will watch all of the action go down on Friday via the WWE Network. The WWE's "Greatest Royal Rumble 2018" begins at 12 PM Eastern Time.
