According to recent NFL Trade rumors, the Cleveland Browns are involved in conversations over one of their top picks. The speculation suggests that Cleveland has no interest in letting go of their top overall pick. However, their next pick, which is the fourth overall selection, could be in play. A few teams are interested and each has a prime spot in the 2018 NFL Draft that the Browns may decide to trade down for.

Browns' draft picks

As of right now, the Cleveland Browns look like they'll hang onto the top overall pick. While there have been NFL rumors that they could opt to draft running back Saquon Barkley, it seems more likely they'll take a quarterback to avoid missing out on another star QB like Carson Wentz.

They could go with Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, Josh Rosen, or even Baker Mayfield as the first pick. An NFL mock draft from Mike Mayock suggests Darnold is the pick fans will hear announced tonight.

The Browns also hold that coveted fourth pick in tonight's NFL Draft. The Walter Football website's mock draft shows that right now if the pick stays with Cleveland it will be one of two players. Defensive end Bradley Chubb is a wild card here because of the potential "financial" issues the team will have in four to five years, as they may have to pay out several $100 million contracts.

Another option is Saquon Barkley if he's still available.

Bills or Cardinals trade

A report from NFL.com's Marc Sessler suggests that the No. 4 pick has been "generating a lot of conversations." In particular, the two teams being mentioned are the Arizona Cardinals and Buffalo Bills. The two teams currently have the No. 11 and No.

12 picks, respectively.

Both of these teams are extremely interested in moving up to this spot in the NFL Draft due to the availability of quality quarterbacks. The two NFL squads are certainly looking to address that need if at all possible. With Cleveland already able to acquire any quarterback they want at the No. 1 spot, it would make sense to trade down for more assets to build their team.

Walter Football suggests that the No. 4 pick will be traded to the Buffalo Bills in their mock draft. If that's the case, they also speculate that the Bills will end up drafting Sam Darnold out of USC to be their signal caller of the future. That would move Cleveland down to the No. 12 spot where they could select cornerback Denzel Ward.

While it may seem to make sense for Cleveland to trade down, their fans may prefer otherwise. The Browns could basically take Saquon Barkley with the top pick and wait to see which of the quarterbacks is an option at the No. 4 pick. The NFL Draft drama continues until those picks and moves are announced Thursday night!
