NBA 2K18 is one of the most played and highest rated sports games that was released in 2017, and it is not only played by a huge number of NBA and basketball fans worldwide but also played by NBA players themselves. NBA 2k’s game mode MyPark that is used through MyCareer is a place where professional basketball players including Lance Stephenson, Kyrie Irving, and even Kevin Durant have been spotted by gamers. NBA stars get their own special players that look exactly like themselves as they use the already made game versions of themselves. So when fans of the NBA see them at the park, it always causes an uproar.
LeBron James however, isn’t really a MyPark type of guy, and as expected as a 32-year old veteran in the NBA. He prefers quick matches, and doesn’t play the game for fun, but more for a way of strategy, learning how he can make his team work better in real life.
LeBron has been using 2k to simulate Isaiah’s return
Isaiah Thomas has been out of action all season for the Cleveland Cavaliers but has been very much active in team practices and games, being a huge supporter from the bench. We all know how good Isaiah can be after averaging a career-best 28.9 points per game last season to go along with 5.9 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 0.9 steals per game on 46.3% shooting from the field and 37.9% from downtown.
It’s clear that Thomas was one of the best point guards in the league last season, and after a hip injury has kept him out for a few months, we still have not seen how he will mesh with the Cavaliers. But the team leader LeBron has done his best to emulate what it will be like to have the point guard by his side, doing so on NBA 2K18.
LeBron said:
“Yea, I play a lot of 2K. Seriously. I’ve said this before, I play a lot of NBA 2K, and it’s the most realistic basketball game that you could ever play, and I mix and match a lot of lineup changes and things of that nature to see how we can be really good. I’ve done that… It looks pretty good.”
LeBron also credited the graphics and gameplay of NBA 2K as he uses it as a reliable source for game insight, credited 2k, saying “They do a good job.”
Isaiah will be back very soon
Isaiah Thomas is scheduled to return in a few weeks or less and has started to participate in the Cleveland Cavaliers practice scrimmages.
Recently Joe Varden of Cleveland.com took to Twitter to announce that Thomas has started to participate in the Cavaliers 4-on-4 scrimmages. It wasn’t too long ago that he was not able to run, and now playing in somewhat physical scrimmages. It’s a great step for Thomas who will be returning to the court this month.
