The Golden Knights were most definitely not constructed like any prior expansion team, but their great start is still mind-boggling. This team continues to remind fans just how good they are. Let's not forget their unforgettable home opener win against the Arizona Coyotes, back in October. The Vegas Golden Knights fought back to beat the Anaheim Ducks 4-2 on Wednesday, November 22, which equals the NHL achievement with 13 wins in the first 20 games of their starting season. Vegas inevitably stole all the Ducks momentum in Wednesday evenings game.

Golden Knights strike
The Montreal Canadiens are the only other team who have won as many through the first 20 games of their starting season in 1917-18. Vegas has shockingly jumped into first place in the Pacific Division with 27 points, upsurging the struggling Los Angeles Kings, who lost to the Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday, November 22. It may still be early in the season, but that point total is still impressive. In addition, the Golden Knights have had one of the less difficult schedules in the NHL. Furthermore, the Pacific is less aggressive of the of the other teams in the division.
It can be said that with a combination of luck and hard work, this team has been leapfrogging to the top.
Resiliency
All in all, they have been able to win games regardless of losing several goalies to injury, which is why it has made them of the NHL's most talked about teams so far this season. When a team is able to triumph despite the consequences and struggles, it makes them a better team.
It shows a lot of resiliency, passion, and hard work. They haven't let their goalie troubles stop them from winning. It is fair to say that many fans did not expect this team to be playing this good and be first in their division.
But that is the best part about the NHL because you can make your predictions but inevitably teams can surprise you.
James Neal has been one of the most impressive players on the team scoring 11 goals and six assists this season. As well as William Karlsson with ten goals and eight assists. Karlsson is evidently like butter because he is on a roll. In addition, When Malcolm Subban played his first game with Vegas, it ended in a win, which was huge for him. This team is the real deal right now, and it will be interesting to see if they can continue with it as the season progresses. They are called the Golden Knights, so gold is what you get when you are currently in first place.
