The Los Angeles Rams will lose to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday (Nov. 19). At least that’s what the NFL experts at CBS Sports have reported. The eight analysts gave their predictions for the Week 11 NFL games, with six of them stating that the Rams are going to lose this important NFC matchup. That’s not what fans want to see as the team tries to hold on to first place in the NFC West.
It's familiar territory for the Rams to play the underdog role, though, and fans won't mind it that much.
The names of the NFL analysts favoring the Vikings over the Rams are Pete Prisco, Jason La Canfora, Will Brenson, Jared Dubin, Dave Richard, and Jamey Eisenberg. As for the two who are supporting the Rams in this Week 11 game, they are Ryan Wilson and John Breech. Among them, Eisenberg has had the most success at picking games this season, going 99-48 through the game on Thursday night (Nov. 16).
Rams vs Vikings
The La Rams and Minnesota Vikings both come into this game with 7-2 records and a first-place standing in their respective divisions.
Game time is 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET on Sunday (Nov. 19) and there is certainly a lot on the line with this matchup. As of Saturday morning (Nov. 18), the Vikings are considered to be 2.5-point favorites to win this game and move to 8-2 on the season.
Later on Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles (8-1) are on the road to play a tough game against the Dallas Cowboys. If the Cowboys end up pulling off the upset, then the Rams vs. Vikings game could decide which team is tied for the best record in the NFC by the end of the night. It raises the stakes, especially since a head-to-head tiebreaker is also on the line in a very competitive NFC race. The Eagles have been pretty good this year though.
More NFL news
The Seattle Seahawks are also predicted to be upset in Week 11 by a few NFL experts. That could be great news for the Rams if the Atlanta Falcons can figure out a way to win at CenturyLink Field on Monday night (Nov. 20). The primetime game is going to be a good one for fans of offense, especially with how many injuries the Seahawks’ secondary is going through right now.
Some of the other intriguing games of the Week 11 NFL schedule include New England vs. Oakland, Washington vs. New Orleans, and Detroit vs. Chicago. The New Orleans Saints are also 7-2 in the NFC, so this is an important game for the team to try to maintain first place in the NFC South. The Carolina Panthers (7-3) are working hard to overcome a slow start and make the race for the division title a very interesting one.
