With the NBA regular season just around the corner, the NBA preseason is a great look into what to expect this coming NBA season. On October 10, 2017, 11 NBA teams and the Haifa Maccabi hit the hard court to get more practice time before opening night.

Detroit Pistons vs. Toronto Raptors

Despite Piston's point guard Ish Smith's 22 points and eight assists, the Detroit Pistons were still unable to get the victory against the Toronto Raptors as they lose 116-94. Both Andre Drummond of the Detroit Pistons and Toronto Raptors' Jonas Valanciunas had 11 rebounds.

Valanciunas also had 18 points and two steals to lead the Raptors in their win.

Haifa Maccabi vs. Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers defeated the visiting Haifa Maccabi 108-89. Indiana's Victor Oladipo led all scorers with 18 points, Domantas Sabonis grabbed ten rebounds, and teammate Cory Joseph dished out five assists to lead all players.

Forward Brandon Bowman led Haifa Maccabi with 11 points, two rebounds, and three assists.

Chicago Bulls vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

The Chicago Bulls won against the Cleveland Cavaliers 108-94. Chicago's Justin Holiday had 28 points, Holiday and Cleveland's Tristan Thompson both had 11 rebounds, while Bulls' Jerian Grant and Cavaliers' Derrick Rose had five assists apiece.

Former NBA MVP LeBron James had 17 points, five rebounds, and three assists in his NBA preseason debut.

Orlando Magic vs. San Antonio Spurs

Aaron Gordon's 27 points and 11 rebounds were enough to help the Orlando Magic win against the San Antonio Spurs with a score of 103-98. Orlando's Jonathan Simmons, who was a former member of the San Antonio Spurs, also had a huge night.

Simmons had 20 points and led all players in assists with 10. San Antonio's second-year guard Dejounte Murray led the Spurs with 15 points, six rebounds, and five assists.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Denver Nuggets

The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Denver Nuggets 96-86. Reigning MVP Russell Westbrook led the Thunder with 20 points and seven rebounds, while Paul George and Nuggets' center Nikola Jokic both had 11 rebounds.

Denver's Will Barton exploded for 26 points to lead all players, he also had five rebounds and three assists.

Utah Jazz vs. Los Angeles Lakers

The Utah Jazz is still undefeated after winning against the Los Angeles Lakers 105-99. Utah's center Rudy Gobert had 29 points while shooting ten out of 12 from the field and nine out of 11 from the free-throw line. Gobert also led all players with 13 rebounds.

Jordan Clarkson led the Los Angeles Lakers with 18 points, three rebounds, and two steals.
