NBA.com has reported that the Utah Jazz obliterated the Phoenix Suns last night with the score 120-102. Devin Booker played a solid game for the Suns last night by contributing 19 points, two rebounds, four assists, and three steals. But despite the amazing performance by Booker, It still was not enough overcome the Utah Jazz. Derrick Favors scored nine points and grabbed six rebounds last night for the Jazz. The Utah Jazz will enter this season without Gordon Hayward, someone will have to step up in order to fill the offensive void Hayward left.

Alex Len continued to impress

Alex Len played 30 minutes in last night's loss against the Utah Jazz, and he continued to impress the NBA universe. He contributed 18 points, six rebounds, one assist, three steals, and one block. He shot the ball at an amazing rate last night, he went 7-10 from the field and 4-7 from beyond the arc. The Phoenix Suns are rebuilding very slowly, and they are starting to reap the benefits with their young players showing amazing improvements.

Josh Jackson scores 14 points

Josh Jackson had a strong showing last night against the Utah Jazz. He contributed 14 points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block but he committed seven turnovers. He shot 45.5 percent from the field, 60 percent from beyond the arc, and 50 percent from the charity stripe.

Josh Jackson is looking like a really good two-way athletic player for the Phoenix Suns. If Devin Booker, Josh Jackson, Alex Len, and TJ Warren can slowly bloom into solid players, the Phoenix Suns will surely be a force to be reckoned with in the near future.

Rubio scores 20 points in just 15 minutes

Ricky Rubio played only fifteen minutes in last nights game against the Phoenix Suns but that did not stop him from making an impact in the game.

He contributed 20 points and three steals last night. He went 8-10 from the field, 2-4 from beyond the arc, and 2-2 from the charity stripe. Ricky Rubio is a new player acquired by the Utah Jazz this offseason and if he can be healthy, Rubio will surely make a huge impact in Utah.

Derrick Favors did a little bit of everything

Derrick Favors had a decent all-around game last night against the Phoenix Suns. He contributed nine points, six rebounds, two assists, three steals, and two blocks. He shot 4-8 from the field, 0-1 from beyond the arc, and 1-3 from the free throw line. Derrick Favors along with Rudy Gobert, Rodney Hood, Joe Johnson, and Ricky Rubio will have to step their game up this upcoming season in order for the Jazz to have a chance at making the playoffs.
