The WWE has announced that both Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt will not be competing at "TLC"(Tables Ladders and Chairs) this Sunday due to illness. They have not said what kind of illness or if they are just injured as of yet. Bray was set to have a match with Finn Balor and Roman was set to team up with the newly reformed Sheild to take on The Miz, The Bar, Braun Strowman, and Kane.

What happens now

So the Bray Wyatt/Finn Balor match has been in the works since "SummerSlam" and this was, more than likely, going to be the end of the feud. Bray has been appearing on the titantron the past few weeks saying that Sister Abigail has returned and was going to give him the strength to shut Finn down.

This past week, Finn revealed that he was going to bring out the "Demon King" to deal with whatever Bray/Sister Abigail had in store. Well that's all thrown out now because AJ Styles is apparently coming over from Smackdown to take on the "Demon" Balor instead. Now this is a fantastic replacement but there's going to be little to no story going on here. These are two of best wrestlers in the WWE at the moment and the match has potential to be one of the best of the year. It's just odd the throw away story and throw a huge name in like that. Normally they would go with a lower wrestler to just fill in.

Now Roman's replacement is huge! Kurt Angle, the current RAW GM, is going to be teaming up with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.

So The Shield reunion match is going to have to wait a bit longer. Angle has not wrestled in a WWE ring in 11 years, so this is an enormous deal! He did have a match not long before joining back up with the WWE after "WrestleMania" this year, so he shouldn't have much ring rust. Now this may have been in the works to happen anyway, since Angle has allowed The Miz to add Kane and Braun and have the match be 5-on-1, making the match 4-on-1 and him teaming with The Shield.

Most people thought he would have a match at SummerSlam this year, but that didn't happen. The chemistry will probably be off in this match, but it should be fun.

How will this go over

It should go over fine since they are being replaced with such huge names but at the same time I could see the storylines that were built up for this PPV not being finished.

That might ultimately end up being a good thing, since people just wanted a reason to have The Shield come back together and to have a match that Bray could win. The Shield was going to win their match regardless, since they went to the trouble of putting them back together, but the AJ/Balor match is a coin flip. Is AJ going to be coming to "RAW" after this match or Finn to "Smackdown"? Or is this just a cool match to have as a replacement? This match has a lot of questions as to why they chose AJ to fill in.

"TLC" was shaping up to be an alright PPV, but since this all happened it's kind of turned into a must watch because it could be amazing or it could be a train wreck since they had to change these up last minute. I guess we'll see Sunday night!

"TLC" will air on the WWE Network this Sunday night.
