Her teammate Emma Meesseman also achieved a double-double, scoring 16 points and grabbing ten boards.

The Dallas Wings managed to get within four points with 3:13 left in the game after Skylar Diggins-Smith scored on a fast-break layup. The Mystics continued to hit free throws down the stretch to pull away with the win at home.

In the losing effort, Dallas received 21 points from Aerial Powers. Powers was ejected from the game with just over a minute left when she received her second technical foul of the night.

Glory Johnson had a double-double with 15 points and 14 boards while Skylar Diggins-Smith shot just 6-of-18 and scored 15 points for her team.

For the game, the Mystics shot 31-for-78 or just under 40 percent. They hit 33.3 percent of the three-point shots they attempted and outrebounded Dallas 52-42. The Wings shot 33.8 percent overall in the game and hit just under 10 percent of the 3-point shots attempted, making only two of the 21 they tried.

What's up next

Tonight's WNBA Playoff game was a single-elimination game for the first round of the postseason. The Washington Mystics will play either the No. 3 seed New York Liberty or No. 4 seed Connecticut Sun in the next round. However, they won't know which of those teams they play against until the Seattle Storm vs. Phoenix Mercury game has been decided.

That game was being played later on Wednesday evening.

As for the Dallas Wings, it was an exciting season which saw this team qualify for the playoffs behind their star players including Skylar Diggins-Smith and Glory Johnson. They'll go back to the drawing board for next season, but can't be too upset over the successful campaign they had to achieve the playoff berth this time around.
