Game preview

The Dallas Wings are the No. 7 seed and will be on the road for tonight's first game of the WNBA Playoffs. They hold a 6-11 record away from home this season but have defeated the Mystics twice at the Verizon Center.

They most recently defeated Washington on August 26th with Skylar Diggins-Smith scoring 20 points on 6-of-15 shooting. Karima Christmas-Kelly added 12 points on 4-for-7 shooting, while Dallas shot 44.4 percent for the game and had three fewer turnovers than the Mystics.

The Washington Mystics are the No. 6 seed and are hosting tonight's Playoff Game with it being their first postseason matchup featuring offseason acquisition Elena Delle Donne. The All-Star guard missed a good number of games due to an injury that kept her sidelined. However, she returned for the past five games of the regular season. The team struggled a bit with Delle Donne back, but she finally helped them grab a 110-106 overtime win against the Seattle Storm. Delle Done shot 11-for-18 and finished with 37 points in that game.
