The NBA training camp has officially started, but LeBron James may sit down for a while. Earlier reports revealed that James injured his ankle during Wednesday's practice and an x-ray was needed to check for a fracture. Fortunately, a Cavaliers spokesman confirmed the results to be negative. James, on the other hand, missed Thursday's workout to check his injury further. The incident subtly marred the expected explosive workout between him and Dwyane Wade after the latter decided in joining the Cavs.

While the result of James' checkup turned negative, the player is currently on a Day To Day, which means, he can miss practice but is subject to a daily evaluation to monitor his ankle.

The practice on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, marked the first day of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade's official partnership.

LeBron James talks about Kyrie Irving

LeBron recently talked about the Kyrie Irving trade wherein he said; he immediately reached out to him hoping to shed some light on why he wants to leave the team. He was as emotional as Kyrie, not knowing where it all came from. "I was wondering if something I could’ve did better to make him not want to be traded," James said. Apparently, thoughts about how they ended the season came to his mind. He also admitted thinking there could be other reasons like the management itself.

James has not been selfish about sharing his knowledge about basketball and the way he presented things; he said he tried to give as much "DNA" as he could to Kyrie, but as things turned out, he will be using them when he plays for Boston.

"I don’t have any advice for him now. I don’t have any advice for him or any people that are on any other team. We’re trying to win a championship. You’re either with us or against us," he added.

Dwyane Wade for the Cleveland Cavaliers

Meanwhile, the coach Tyrone Lue shared his observations on Wade's first official workout with the Cleveland Cavaliers team saying, "Came in, played well.

Had a great flow, great chemistry and just trying to figure things out and learn on the fly. But he's a smart player and picked things up really quick." Lue also confirmed that the Cavs have figured out its lineup, implying that they already have a plan, which he will not disclose at the moment..

The Cleveland Cavaliers will start their preseason against the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
