Many players have been changing teams like isaiah thomas, Jimmy Butler, Paul George, Chris Paul, Brook Lopez, Jae Crowder, D'Angelo Russell, Jeff Teague, and Danilo Gallinari. With those NBA players wearing a new uniform next season we can expect an amazing NBA regular season this October. This offseason also featured new rules in-game relating to time outs to improve game flow and a new and revamped NBA schedule that is more player friendly. Here is a couple of more updates on the NBA free agency scene:

Isaiah Thomas will get treatment but will not undergo surgery

A couple of weeks ago the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics finalized their trade deal of Kyrie Irving for Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, Brooklyn's NBA first round draft pick, and Bostons future second round draft pick.

This deal was complicated due to Isaiah's injury that was later on discovered as a Torn Labrum this offseason. In a report by the NBA.com, it has been said that Isaiah Thomas and the Cavaliers training camp have a detailed plan on attacking Isaiah's injury. Kobe Altman and the rest of the crew are dedicated to putting Thomas back to 100 percent and bring him back to the court as soon as he can.

Thomas entered the NBA in the offseason of 2011 where he was drafted with the 60th overall pick in the second round by the Sacramento Kings. He played a total of three seasons for the Sacramento Kings, a short stint in Phoenix (playing 46 games), and for the Boston Celtics for two seasons and 21 games.

Last season he played like a beast and helped the Boston Celtics take the number one seed in the Eastern Conference as he averaged a career high in points, field goal percentage, and free throw percentage. He averaged 28.9 points, 0.2 blocks, 0.9 steals, 5.9 assists, and 2.7 rebounds while shooting 46.3 percent from the field, 37.9 percent from beyond the arc, and 90.9 percent from the charity stripe.

Crowder's mother passed away

On the day the blockbuster trade between the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers was announced this offseason a loving mother also passed away in Jae Crowder's mom. His mom died at 51 years old due to cancer a few minutes after Jae Crowder was informed that he was going to Cleveland next season.

Despite everything that has happened Jae Crowder said in the NBA press interview with Kobe Altman and Isaiah Thomas that he was very excited to play for the Cleveland Cavaliers and was also happy that Isaiah Thomas was coming with him to Cleveland.
