Thursday's 10-6 win by the Detroit Tigers didn't come without some costs for the victory. In their latest game against the New York Yankees, there were multiple fights throughout the contest. To be exact, three bench-clearing brawls took place between the two MLB squads, one of which saw Miguel Cabrera and Austin Romine going after each other on the ground. In today's game, the Detroit Tigers had a four-run fifth inning and then added four more runs in the seventh and eighth despite a Yankees' attempted comeback.

In today's game, Detroit received home runs from Justin Upton who hit his 27th of the season in the first inning and McCann in the eighth. Upton and Jacoby Jones each had two hits, while shortstop Jose Iglesias finished with three hits and four RBI for the day. Cabrera was 0-for-3 in the game with a strikeout. Alex Wilson picked up the win while Shane Greene had his fourth save of the season.

The new york yankees received a fourth inning home run from Gary Sanchez. He and Aaron Hicks led the team with two RBI each while left fielder Brett Gardner had four hits and a run scored in the game. Rookie Aaron Judge was one-for-4 with a strikeout and one run scored.

The game also saw the three fights mentioned which resulted in multiple ejections.

In the sixth inning, pitcher Kahnle was ejected for throwing behind Cabrera which led to manager Joe Girardi also being ejected. Both Miguel Cabrera and Austin Romine were ejected for fighting one another as the benches cleared.

In the seventh inning, pitcher Dellin Betances was ejected for hitting the Tigers' James McCann with a pitch.

That would also lead to an ejection for the Yankees bench coach Rob Thomson. The drama continued into the eighth as pitcher Alex Wilson hit Todd Frazier with a pitch. Wilson would get ejected as well as Detroit Tigers manager Brad Ausmus.

The New York Yankees are now 68-58 overall. They will be home for a matchup against the Seattle Mariners on Friday evening.
