Wednesday night's WNBA schedule features the league's top team in action against a squad still trying to climb their way into the playoff standings. The Seattle storm host the Minnesota Lynx at KeyArena with Seattle neck-and-neck with the Chicago Sky for the eighth and final WNBA Playoff spot. A win tonight could help the Storm keep pace with their competitors as the Atlanta Dream are right there with both Seattle and Chicago.

Here's a look at tonight's game preview with matchup odds, start time, television channels and live stream feed options.

WNBA game preview

The Minnesota Lynx own the league's top record with a 21-4 overall record and a 10-2 record on the road. Minnesota clinched the first of the WNBA playoff spots over a week or so ago and continues to pursue the top seed when the brackets arrive. Tonight they'll be on the road against Seattle, but once again without point guard Lindsay Whalen who is out indefinitely after surgery on her thumb. However, in bad news for the Storm, the Lynx are coming into this game after just having lost 70-64 to their rivals the L.A.

Sparks.

The Seattle Storm are actually riding a win into this game under their interim head coach Gary Kloppenburg. The team defeated the Mercury in Phoenix, 98-89 to earn their 11th win of the season. However, with 16 losses on their record, Seattle is desperately hanging onto the possibility of one of the final playoff spots. Right now, both the Chicago Sky and Storm hold identical records, but Chicago has the tiebreaker. A win for the Storm would be huge tonight, putting them above the Sky, albeit until the next time Chicago plays.

Odds makers clearly favor the visitors, as the points spread is at six points in favor of Minnesota. On the moneyline, the Lynx are -280 to -300 favorites at various books.

The home team is at +240 to +250 as of this report. For the over/under bettors, the total is between 163.5 to 165 points heading into this matchup. Minnesota holds the serious advantage though, as they've won nine of the last ten games between these two teams.
