Since both Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor compete in two different forms of combat sports, there is no way any weight class belt could be on the line. However, the World Boxing Council has created "The Money Belt" that will go to the winner of Saturday night's contest. A few stakes have been added as the fight gets close and "Money May" will be even more eager to win the belt to that matches one of his brands "The Money Team." Floyd is no stranger to specially made belts. He has already been awarded the diamond, gold, and emerald belts for his victories over Miguel Cotto, Canelo Alvarez, and Manny Pacquiao.
However, McGregor has been eager to prove that he is the better fighter and continues to promise fans that he will win by knockout. If he does, he will walk away with the belt that is loaded with 3.3 pounds of gold, 3,360 diamonds, 600 sapphires, 160 emeralds and Italian crocodile leather, according to ESPN. The belt was made at a cost of $1 million. WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman says since the fight was influenced by money it inspired the name of the belt. The winner can reportedly do whatever they choose with the belt at the conclusion of the bout.

The fight fans have been waiting for has finally arrived
The most anticipated fight possibly ever, has finally arrived.
Saturday is one day away and both fighters have arrived in Las Vegas ready to cash out and give the fans of both sports what they've been waiting to see for the last two months. Mayweather will be fresh out of retirement and if he wins he will finally be breaking the record that he currently shares with Rocky Marciano. A career record of 50-0 and a payout of over $250 million will certainly make it hard for Floyd to not put up his boxing gloves for good.
For McGregor, being the first guy to ever defeat Mayweather will be the biggest accomplishment of his fighting career. It will also be big because he is not considered a professional boxer. Still, he continues to express how confident he is that he will walk away on Saturday night as the victor. Conor is expected to have many fans in attendance that will expect him to do all of the things he has been saying he'll do to the guy who has proclaimed he is the best ever to do it combat sports.

Fight predictions for Saturday night's event
Floyd Mayweather continues to be the favorite over an inexperienced McGregor. However, the sparring tape released by UFC President Dana White a few weeks ago has convinced fans that Conor may actually have a chance to win. Also, Floyd is in his 40s and Conor is in his late 20s, so age could play a factor as well. Unfortunately, none of those things may matter against a guy who has yet to lose a fight in his professional boxing career.
