The WWE "Battleground" 2017 pay-per-view is less than two weeks away and already has several big matches in place. These included Randy Orton vs. Jinder Mahal in a Punjabi Prison match for the WWE World Championship and John Cena vs. Rusev in a Flag Match.

On the latest episode of WWE's "SmackDown Live," two new matches were added to the card. They'll feature the women's division and also "Mr. Money in the Bank" against "The King of Strong Style." Here are the latest updates to the "Battleground" match card for next weekend.

Nakamura vs. Corbin

For the past several weeks, Baron Corbin has been gunning for Shinsuke Nakamura.

He attacked him prior to the "Money in the Bank" ladder match and then again a week ago on "SmackDown Live" backstage. "The Lone Wolf" was scheduled to take on Nakamura in a singles bout on the latest episode of Tuesday's show.

The two would prepare to face off, but Shinsuke quickly attacked Corbin on the outside of the ring. The two would continue beating one another up into the crowd, and then back out to the ringside area. Eventually, referees intervened to separate them but the match never took place on WWE "SmackDown."

Later in the show, an announcement was made that Shinsuke Nakamura will face Baron Corbin at WWE "Battleground" next Sunday night. The two competitors are former NXT stars.

Nakamura is a former champion there, while Corbin has a briefcase which could make him the next WWE World Champion any time, any place.

Women's elimination match

There was a backstage segment on the latest "SmackDown" episode where WWE Women's Champion Naomi asked the Commissioner Shane McMahon who her next opponent will be.

She requested for her next challenge to be anyone except for Lana again since Naomi has defeated her three times now in title matches.

Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Natalya, Lana, and Tamina showed up to stake a claim as being in line as a title contender.

Shane informed them that they'll all compete at "Battleground" in a five woman's elimination match. The winner of that match gets to take on Naomi for the WWE "SmackDown" Women's title at "SummerSlam" 2017. Which of the women's' superstars will be next to get a shot at Naomi's title, and when will "Ms. Money in the Bank" Carmella cash in her briefcase?

The WWE "Battleground" 2017 pay-per-view takes place on Sunday, July 22nd from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with exclusive coverage on the WWE Network.
