It's been a great run for the Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trail Blazers at the 2017 NBA Summer League. On Monday night, all of the hard work will culminate in a championship for one of the two teams. While it's not quite the NBA Championship, it will give the winning team the major pat on the back they need for a summer of hard work in Vegas. Unfortunately for Los Angeles, they'll need to win without their top star Lonzo Ball. Can the rest of his Lakers team come together to defeat a talented Portland squad? Here's the latest on the Lakers vs.

Trail Blazers live stream, TV channel, start time and more.

The matchup

Both the Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trail Blazers have identical 5-2 records coming into this matchup. To get here, the L.A. Lakers took out Brooklyn 115-106 and then Dallas 108-98. Portland defeated San Antonio 94-87, and then Memphis 87-82. Now the two teams clash with the Summer League title on the line.

In the Lakers' recent win over Dallas, Lonzo Ball played just 21 minutes and tallied 16 points on 5-for-7 shooting, including a 2-of-3 rate from downtown. He also had 10 assists and four rebounds. Unfortunately, the Lakers' rookie suffered an injury in that semifinal game and is reportedly out of tonight's final game due to a mild calf strain, per an ESPN report.

This makes for the second injury to a Lakers' roster player during the Summer League. Brandon Ingram suffered muscle spasms earlier during the team's start to their Vegas games.

Kyle Kuzma has been another bright spot for the Lakers in addition to Ball. He scored 24 points on 8-for-14 shooting which included 5-for-7 from three-point range in the win over Dallas.

He'll be on the floor tonight, along with other Lakers' hopefuls such as Ivica Zubac and Vander Blue.

The Portland Trail Blazers received 22 points and 15 rebounds from forward Jarnell Stokes in their semifinal win over Memphis. Stokes was 9-for-14 from the field and also added three assists while recording two steals. Jorge Gutierrez added 16 points and Caleb Swanigan 15 to help in the team's win.

Swanigan also put up big numbers against the Spurs in the quarterfinals with 16 points and nine boards in the win.
