The WWE superstars were at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for the Monday, June 26th, 2017 episode of WWE's "Raw" television program. Before the Monday night show started up, a special taping of the WWE's "Main Event" show took place. One match featured the Cruiserweight division, while the other featured two tag teams battling it out in the ring that you might not expect. Here are the latest WWE "Main Event" results spoilers from Los Angeles, California at the Staples Center.
Cruiserweight, tag team matches
The ring switched over to the purple color scheme and logo for an early match that was taped.
In the first match of the evening, Cedric Alexander defeated The Brian Kendrick via pinfall after his backbreaker move. The latest win would seem to give Cedric a push in the division. Will he soon be challenging current WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville for the ultimate prize in their division?
In a rare tag team match, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson took on Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder (a.k.a. The Revival). The finish of this matchup saw the heels Dash and Wilder emerge victorious after hitting their double-team finishing move for the pinfall.
Other notes
A fan in attendance at the event noted that the "Big Baller Brand" logo was shown up on the WWE's big screen during the pre-show preparations.
That seems to confirm all the rumors that have been going around indicating that LaVar Ball will appear on "Monday Night Raw." Ball's involvement in the show is unknown, but a photo emerged online showing him with Titus O'Neil of the "Titus Brand."
There were other rumors going around that "The Rattlesnake" Stone Cold "Steve Austin" would also make an appearance on "Raw" in Los Angeles, California.
In addition to that, there were announcements of a Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman appearance to call out Brock's PPV opponent, Samoa Joe. Fans were waiting to see how things unfolded with that situation in Los Angeles.
A women's Gauntlet match was also announced for the "Raw" episode at Staples Center. The women's match would be used to determine which of the "Raw" women's division competitors gets to face Alexa Bliss for the WWE "Raw" Women's Championship at the upcoming "Great Balls of Fire" 2017 pay-per-view.
Among the speculated competitors prior to the show were Sasha Banks, Bayley, Alicia Fox, Dana Brooke, and Mickie James.
Will both Stone Cold and LaVar Ball appear on the show? The latest WWE "Raw" airs on the USA Network at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
