EPL giants Manchester United have reportedly won the chase for teen sensation Allou Badara Troare ahead of the new season. In Spain, La Liga club Sevilla CF is making good progress in their attempts to sign Manchester City forward Nolito this summer, while Real Betis are on the verge of agreeing to a deal to land Aston Villa midfield maestro Carles Gil. Here's a complete report of the latest transfers updates Making The Rounds:
Manchester United lands Troare
Allou Badara Traore has been tipped for a “big future” and spent time at French club Paris Saint Germain's youth academy before joining Sevilla last summer.
The 16-year-old prospect is set to be on the move to Old Trafford this summer. According to Metro Football, Troare has agreed to join the Premier League giants. The French teen star has reportedly signed a three-year contract with Manchester United and will officially join their youth team this summer. Signing the 16-year-old midfielder will be seen as a “coup” for Manchester United as several other big European club sides had also expressed an interest in the youngster.
Sevilla close in on signing Nolito
Manuel Agudo Durán also known as Nolito played just nine EPL matches during his first year with Manchester City following his $17.4m arrival from Spanish club Celta Vigo last season. Now the 30-year-old striker looks set to leave Man City in a bid to secure a more regular first team football while also complaining that he does not like the weather in Manchester, according to the Guardian.
La Liga outfit Sevilla CF has been heavily linked with a possible move to bring him back to Spain, although the Spanish giants are yet to agree in principle a deal with Manchester City. However, Sevilla president Jose Castro has now revealed that the switch could be close for the 39-year-old forward.
Jose Castro told reporters: “When you talk about top players, you can never say things are wholly done.
“It is true we've not spoken about any other possible options as we've made remarkable progress in getting Nolito to play for our club.”
Real Betis leads race to land Gil
Carles Gil spent the last term on loan at Spanish club Deportivo La Coruna and made twenty-three starts in La Liga, scoring just once. Deportivo had hoped to sign the 24-year-old midfielder permanently this summer but now, according to Ninety Minutes Online, it is Real Betis who's reportedly leading the chase for the Spaniard.
It has been reported that Carles Gil is apparently excited to join Real Betis, who've agreed to a deal in principle to sign the 24-year-old midfielder. Now Real Betis just need to “finalize” a transfer fee with Aston Villa, who value the midfielder at around $5million. Carles Gil made a total of twenty-eight EPL appearances for Aston Villa since his arrival from his hometown club Deportivo La Coruna in January 2015.
