Kevin Hart is one of the biggest celebrity names in the world. Widely known for his comedic sense of humour and his acting skills, he is one of the best entertainers on the globe. But Kevin Hart is also a huge NBA and basketball fan, with many friends in the NBA, and some of those friends include LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, players who are competing for the 2017 NBA championship. But while watching this years NBA Finals, Mr. Hart is at a point where he needs to pick sides between his friends.
At this point in the Finals series, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers trail Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors with the series heading to Cleveland at the Quicken Loans Arena for games 3 and 4.
Game three will be a very important one for both teams, if the Warriors go up 3-0 the series will be pretty much in the palm of their hands, while if the Cavaliers can pull out the win and pull the series to 2-1, they will be in a good position to tie the series in game four. Kevin Hart will be sure to watch the series, and how it unfolds.
Kevin Hart wants to see King James win the 2017 championship
Kevin Hart is known around the globe for his comedy and entertaining character, but recently Kevin has expressed his NBA opinions. Hart recently spoke about the NBA Finals, and who he would like to see holding the Larry O'Brien trophy this month, saying:
“I’m a LeBron guy, I love him. That’s my friend.
I’m also friends with Stephen Curry and Durant." Hart explained, "You know, from a friendship standpoint, I’m torn. I wanted to see Bron’ make history, but Golden State looks great, you know."
Hart explained that if the Cavaliers want to be the 2017 champs, they have a lot of hard work ahead of them. The Warriors are a team that will be very hard to beat unless the Cavs can put together a spectacular Finals performance.
Kevin also explained why Warriors are favorites, stating that KD has put himself in a great situation, and made a huge but successful choice to join this powerhouse team in the 2016 offseason. And now it looks like that choice is paying off, with two wins already in the 2017 NBA Finals.
Kevin Hart seems to be predicting that we will see Kevin Durant holding the trophy in a few weeks, but would want to see the King holding it if he could decide.
If LBJ can come through clutch and pull it off, he will win his fourth NBA title and further greaten his legacy while if KD wins, he will have won his first NBA championship after a long career of near misses.
LeBron's legacy will heighten
If LeBron James can pull his team through and win 4 out of the next 5 games and win his second straight NBA championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers, his legacy as a player will improve and the talk between himself and Michael Jordan will continue. Kevin Hart will be hoping that this goes down, just as many Cavalier fans across the world also will.
