It was expected that Pakistan will play its younger players to make them battle hardened for the crucial matches ahead.
The Pakistani team sweated it out for over two hours at Edgbaston on Friday to smooth the rough edges and get ready for their fling for the Icc Champions Trophy.
The Pakistani team seeks to give the nation the ICC Cup as an Eid gift. Pakistan will try to start their campaign with a win over arch-rivals India which will give a much-needed boost to their confidence.
Coach Mickey Arthur was seen goading his words and asking them to work on specific weak areas of the team. Bowling Coach Azhar Mahmood was also seen explaining the intricacies of bowling with a white ball in English conditions which are thought to favor the seam bowlers.
Pakistan and Bangladesh hope for their maiden ICC Champions Trophy
The 2017 ICC Champions Trophy will start from June 1 in England, and the top eight teams will slug it be crowned the champions in the shortest format of the game.
Team India won the trophy in 2013 under the captainship of Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
There will be six warm-up matches, and the first match is scheduled to be played between Australia and Sri Lanka. The second warm-up match will be played between Pakistan And Bangladesh. The Bangla team is lead by Mashrafe Mortaza while Sarfraz Khan will lead the Pakistan team.
Both teams will be playing to win their maiden ICC Champions Cup. The ICC Champions Trophy final is scheduled to take place on June 18.

Pakistan team upbeat after West Indies tour
Pakistan captain is confident that his team will continue to dominate India in the Champions Trophy as it did in the past.
Pakistan has a better winning average against India in the Champions Trophy. He added that his side has nothing to lose and will play their natural game the team is upbeat after a very good series against the West Indies.
