"General Hospital" has undergone some surprising cast changes in recent weeks. Oscar died last week and viewers were stunned when Michelle Stafford left her role as Nina to return to "The Young and the Restless" as Phyllis. It was rumored that Valentin's wife would leave Port Charles after finding out that Sasha is not her child, but Cynthia Wartros has hired a recast. Brytni Sarpy left her role as Valerie Spencer and went to "Y&R" as Elena. She was replaced by Paulina Bugembe, who fans are not warming up to. Loyal viewers are wondering if other actors on the ABC drama may be switching roles or simply leaving the show.

The fates of Sasha and Kim are also up in the air.

'GH' cast shake-ups stun fans

Celeb Dirty Laundry indicates that "General Hospital" fans are concerned about recent cast shake-ups and curious about whether or not they will continue. Viewers are wondering if Billy Miller may reprise his role as Billy Abbott on "Y&R" and if Jason Thompson, who currently portrays Billy, will return to his "GH" character, Patrick Drake. Those who loyally watch the action in Port Charles have had to adjust to a new Jordan Ashford.

It's likely Mr. Archer's days in Port Charles, as well as those of Sasha and Trina, are numbered. Josslyn's friend appeared a few times in 2017 and 2018 but had more airtime on "General Hospital" when Oscar became sick.

This character has not even been given a last name and viewers may not see much more of her. It is probable, that in time, Cameron and Joss will fall in love, and that Trina would simply be a fifth wheel.

More comings and goings on 'General Hospital'

Soaps She Knows is reporting that Chandra Wilson will be returning to "General Hospital" as Sydney Val Jean.

If she looks familiar it is because the actress has shown up in Port Charles twice before. She once portrayed Dr. Francine Massey and also a patient of Dr. Kevin Collins. Ingo Rademacher is returning soon as Jasper Jax to help Joss deal with the loss of Oscar.

If Ryan Chamberlain is still alive, then Jon Lindstrom will be operating in his dual role, yet again.

Viewers are anxious for the serial killer twin to be found dead or brought to justice so that this storyline can end. So far, nothing definite has been said regarding the evil twin, but hopefully, he will be quickly dealt with once and for all. Joe Flannigan is currently portraying Dr. Neil Byrne and there has been no word as to whether he will be on "General Hospital" long-term or not.
