Sylvester Stallone is back with “Rambo V: Last Blood.” The 72-year-old has completed filming and has assured his fans that it “would be a fitting finale.” The gap between the first and fifth Movies in the series is more than three-and-a-half decades.

Sky News reports that the story focuses on John Rambo, who will have to take on a Mexican drug cartel. Obviously, like all his movies, there will be plenty of action. I also want to share how Mexican drug cartels are exploiting underground tunnels.

The fifth film looks promising to me

In all of the Rambo movies, so far, there is a whole lot of action.

More action is expected in the fifth one. Adrian Grunberg has directed it from a script co-written by Stallone, and it is due to hit cinemas in 2019.

Sylvester Stallone in “Rambo: First Blood” depicted the effects of the Vietnam War on those who returned alive, especially the soldiers. He played John Rambo, who knew all the tricks of survival in the wild. He resorted to using handmade indigenous weapons to wage his war against injustice.

Story of the movie

Coming Soon provided a brief look at the story of “Rambo V: Last Blood.” John Rambo is living on a ranch in Arizona while coping with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Maria is his friend and the estate manager. When she informs Rambo about her missing granddaughter, he jumps into action. The youngster had gone to attend a party in Mexico, hence Rambo travels in that direction. He soon discovers a racket of human trafficking, operated by a vicious crime lord.

Avi Lerner and Kevin King are the producers of this John Rambo movie.

The previous one in the series was “Rambo” in 2008 and it earned $113.2 million worldwide on a $50 million budget. However, he has come back. I also wanted to share that Stallone underwent medical testing recently.

The Rambo film series took off in 1982, with “First Blood,” followed by “Rambo: First Blood Part II” (1985), “Rambo III” (1988), “Rambo” (2008), and now “Rambo V: Last Blood” (2019).

The first movie, made on a budget of $15 million, had box office earnings of around $47 million. Box office earnings, according to Box Office Mojo, for “First Blood Part II” was $150 million. Sylvester Stallone is also playing Rocky Balboa in the movie “Creed II," which I predict will do very well. He has indicated that this will be the last time he will be in the role of Rocky. I am not so sure he is right about that, though.
