Jenelle Evans and David Eason appear to be going strong, despite the fact that the "Teen Mom 2" star accused her husband of a terrifying assault less than two weeks ago. In addition to a number of happy family photos shared by Eason in the days since her hysterical 911-call was made public, Evans has shared a new photo of her own, in which her husband appears to be rocking a new style as he plants a kiss on her cheek.

"We love good food," Evans wrote in the caption of her latest Instagram post, which included a photo of Eason sporting a long straight beard and bald head.

Evans' post also included another image of the couple in which they were both seen looking at the camera. According to Us Weekly magazine, Evans phoned the police in North Carolina on October 13 and said she had just been assaulted by her husband. As she explained, Eason allegedly pinned her to the ground in their backyard and potentially broken her collarbone.

“I think I heard my **king collarbone crack and I can’t move my arms,” she explained to the dispatcher.

Jenelle Evans says her 'assault' claims were a 'misunderstanding'

In a statement to E! News, after her 911-call was shared online, Evans went back on the claims she made against her partner, saying their encounter earlier this month was nothing more than a “drunk and dramatic misunderstanding.” The "Teen Mom 2" cast member also told the outlet she and husband David Eason were focusing on their relationship and their family after the "misunderstanding."

Despite backtracking, Evans continued to face backlash, online, for staying with Eason and ultimately decided to temporarily delete her Twitter account.

Then, after returning to social media earlier this week, she shared a telling photo with her 21-month-old daughter, Ensley Jolie Eason. “Hate us if you will but that’s your choice,” she wrote in the caption and added the hashtags “#FamilyFirst #FamilyIsForever”

The incident wasn't surprising to some

Following Jenelle Evans and David Eason's alleged fight, a source told Us Weekly magazine that some people close to the longtime reality star were "not surprised by this” but hoped the mother of three would leave her controversial husband after the shocking encounter.

To see more of Jenelle Evans and her family, as well as her co-stars and their families, don't miss "Teen Mom 2" season nine, which currently in production and expected to air on MTV sometime next year.
