Jo Rivera and his wife Vee Torres have had a change of heart. After confirming on Twitter months ago that they would not be participating in any further seasons of "Teen Mom 2," a report from The Ashley's Reality Roundup has confirmed that they will both be featured on the MTV series' upcoming ninth season.

“They renegotiated both of their contracts,” a source told the outlet on August 23. While the original women of the show, including Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowry, Leah Messer, and Chelsea Houska all make the same amount for each season filmed, Rivera and Torres are not full-time cast members and have the ability to adjust their salaries as they go.

That said, it is not clear whether or not the couple received a raise for agreeing to return to the show for its ninth season.

Why Jo Rivera quit 'Teen Mom 2' months ago

Back in May, news of Rivera and Torres quitting "Teen Mom 2" was first shared. However, while Rivera decided to leave the show due to the violence that occurred at the reunion special earlier this year, he has since been assured that nothing like that will ever happen again.

“The producers had to reassure [Jo Rivera] that there would be no more violence on the show or around his kids,” the behind-the-scenes insider explained to The Ashley. “[Jo] was very upset after [the Reunion] and the producers spoke at length with him to try to make it right.”

Isaac's status for 'Teen Mom 2' season nine

Around the time of Rivera and Torres' exit from "Teen Mom 2" months ago, it was reported that Kailyn Lowry's children, including Isaac, the nine-year-old son she shares with Rivera, would not be seen on the show.

However, according to The Ashley's Reality Roundup's latest report, Isaac has already been seen in front of the camera during production on season nine.

“Isaac has been filming, both with [Kailyn Lowry] and with [Jo Rivera],” the source said. “He will continue to be on the show, at least for now.” As for the rest of Lowry's children, four-year-old Lincoln, who Lowry shares with Javi Marroquin, will likely be featured as Marroquin will continue to be seen, and one-year-old Lux Russel may be kept off camera unless his dad, Chris Lopez, agrees to give him permission.

"Teen Mom 2" season nine is currently in production and is expected to return to MTV later this year or early next year. Season eight is currently airing its two-part reunion special on Monday nights at 9PM on MTV. Stay tuned.
