"Game of Thrones" fans have already been waiting too long for the final season to arrive, so it's no wonder that they've come up with all sorts of different theories on how the whole thing is going to end. Some fans even went as far as to outline the entire Season 8 scene by scene. You've got to admit, that's a whole new level of commitment.

But the thing about these outlines is that they are full of rehashed theories and all sorts of predictable stuff. Fortunately, that's not the case with the new "Game of Thrones" Season 8 outline that was read by Dan, from the YouTube channel Talking Thrones.

Now, I am not going to delve into everything that's been said in this outline, you can watch the Talking Thrones video for that. Instead, I am going to explore what is, at least in my opinion, the most interesting part of this outline - the Night King's backstory. So without further ado, let's get right into it.

Bran's vision of the Night King

How else are we going to find out about the Night King's origin story than through Bran's eyes? So, according to this outline, Bran will go to the Isle of Faces in Episode 4, where he will enter the vision to find out more about the White Walker leader. In this vision, he'll see the King of the First Men who ruled over all of Westeros before the time of the Iron Throne.

A past theory hints at a bittersweet ending.

This was also the time when the Children of the Forest were constantly attacking the realm, despite the fact that they've signed the Pact with men years before. It was because of these attacks, that the King sent his son to further investigate the matter. The Prince then went further North along with his wife and a dozen companions in the hope to find the rebellious Children of the Forest.

Unfortunately, they were all captured. The Prince was then turned into the Night King, his wife into the Night Queen, and their escorts into the White Walkers. Sometime after that, the Prince, now the new Night King, killed his father. But eventually, armies of men were able to banish the Night King and his companions into the Land of Always Winter but not before capturing the Night Queen who was then trapped in the lowest levels of Winterfell's Crypts.

The Night King's motivation

Back in the present day, Bran will see the White Walker leader walking through the Crypts of Winterfell, where he will eventually find the Night Queen. Unfortunately for the Night King and mankind alike, the Night Queen will die due to the heat of Winterfell's hot springs.

It will be at this point that Bran will realize that this whole war would have been avoided if they only had given the Night Queen back. As for the Night King, he will then focus all his energy on getting back his rightful place as king of Westeros and for that, he would have to eradicate the entire mankind.
