Some of the ARMY (members of BTS's worldwide fanbase) are wondering what happened to their song "Euphoria" which was teased in a nine-minute music video back in April.
The video featured the band in dramatic scenarios like member Jungkook getting beaten up, along with scenes of all the members spending time with each other. They've also released a comeback trailer with the song "Singularity," which features member V in a moody setting with masked dancers.
The popularity of BTS in the United States
The seven-member boy band made up of rappers RM, Suga, J-Hope and vocalists V, Jimin, Jin, and Jungkook, debuted with their first album "2 Cool 4 School" in 2013. The band won several South Korea based awards and continued to gain popularity with their subsequent albums.
BTS has accomplished a lot of firsts for K-Pop music. Their single "DNA" from their fifth EP "Love Yourself: Her" reached over 20 million views within 24 hours on YouTube, breaking the record for the most viewed K-pop group music video.
"DNA" is also the first song by a K-pop boy band to have an entry on the Billboard Hot 100. They also are the first K-pop group to have a song, "Spring Day," in the top ten on iTunes in the United States.
In May 2017, they beat Justin Bieber's six-year winning streak at the Billboard Music Awards for the Top Social Artist Award, becoming the first Korean group to win a BBMA and to be nominated twice in a row for an award.
BTS will be returning to the BBMA stage this Sunday, May 20 to premiere their new single.
Fans truly cannot get enough of the boys. ARMYs can watch the group play games and go on adventures on several variety shows, mainly Run BTS! The show recently reached a landmark with the 51st episode.
Upcoming tour
BTS is going on their third worldwide tour beginning in August 2018.
Their "BTS World Tour: Love Yourself" tour will begin in their native South Korea and will visit seven countries, including the United States. The high demand for tickets in Los Angeles caused there to be a second date added in the city. Fans have also been urging the group to add more dates for the European leg of the tour.
